Eric began working as a mapper and researcher for McCarty Land and Water Valuation, Inc. after graduating from Kansas State University in December 2004.

During his time with the reputable firm, McCarty became a Certified General Real Property Appraiser. He drew on his experiences growing up on a farm and ranch operation in southwestern Kansas to specialize in agricultural properties early in his career. His expertise expanded to Colorado water rights and other specialty properties on the Northern Front Range.   

After ten years, Eric left McCarty Land and Water Valuation, Inc. to take over Front Range Ag Appraisal, LLC and form Front Range Land and Water Consulting ("FRLWC").

McCarty is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers ("ASFMRA") and has extensive education and experience in rural and transitional real property appraisal.
